The partnership unites two legendary brands in motorcycle engineering, creating a powerful force that blends tradition, innovation, and racing excellence. WorldSBK podium results were gained last year and have continued into the first round of 2026.

The bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team is operated by Provec Racing, the experienced organisation behind Kawasaki’s multiple WorldSBK titles. The headquarters remain in Barcelona, adjacent to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where workshop operations, assembly, and logistics are handled. New talent from bimota has also joined the structure, bringing fresh perspectives to the project.

This collaboration leverages the strengths of both brands, with development split across two global centers:

Rimini, Italy – bimota’s headquarters will focus on chassis and aerodynamic development, ensuring the precision and craftsmanship the brand is known for.

Akashi, Japan – Kawasaki’s R&D team will handle engine and electronics development, delivering cutting-edge performance for the track.

Bimota as a brand made history by winning the very first WorldSBK race in 1988. BbKRT honours this rich heritage while setting its sights on the future of racing technology and performance.
