He quickly acclimatised to the exquisite power and handling of the KX250 to claim the European EMX250 title in his debut season aboard a quarter-litre machine, and he was chosen to head Kawasaki's official return to the MX2 world series last year with KRT. His rookie GP season was inevitably a helter-skelter year with a mixture of impressive successes and frustrating injuries as he tested the limits of man and machine on the toughest tracks in the world, but he showed strength of character to rebound from a wrist injury to claim his first moto victory in GP racing with success in the Qualifying race at the Czech GP and add 15 top-six moto finishes and a GP podium to his CV.

Now fully acquainted with the KRT team set-up, the factory KX250-SR and the tracks and schedule of a twenty-race GP campaign he is poised to be one of the leading contenders for honours throughout the 2026 World Championship campaign.
