In his second year of competition on the official Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, Gerloff has secured several strong points scores, with his best individual race finish being fourth, at the opening race in Czechia.

His most recent performances at Motorland Aragon, at the end of May, took Garrett up to tenth position in the overall championship rankings. He is currently tied on the same 85 points total as the rider above him.

Between the Autodrom Most and Motorland Aragon rounds, Garrett - and many of his fellow WorldSBK riders - took part in an important two-day test at Misano. Armed with the data collected from the test, Gerloff and the entire Kawasaki WorldSBK Team are particularly keen to get back into race action to continue their upward trajectory. 

Misano is one of the most eagerly anticipated venues on this or any other WorldSBK calendar, for its unique track layout and its location close to the numerous holiday resorts that line Italy’s Adriatic Coast.

Free Practice One and Two kick off the on-track action for the WorldSBK riders at the 4.226km-long Misano circuit on Friday 12 June. Saturday will feature a short FP3 session, then Superpole Qualifying, and the first of three races - the 21-lap Race One. A ten-lap Tissot Superpole Race and the second full 21-lap race will end the competitive action at Misano on Sunday 14 June.

After the Misano weekend, the eighth round of the WorldSBK championship will take place at Donington Park in the UK, between 10-12 July.

Garrett Gerloff stated: “I’m pleased to be racing at Misano, in front of all the excited fans and our sponsors. We’ve had a positive time recently and want to keep on improving during what is a home round for our team. I like the track and had a good weekend here in 2025 that culminated with P8 in Race Two, but this year we have bigger ambitions. We tested at this track just three weeks ago, and so have some good data with which to start; I hope to be competitive right from the start so that we can score strong race results.”
