Race weekend at the 4.023km-long track located in the East Midlands of England will be held between 10-12 July, and at a circuit that Gerloff now knows well in what is his seventh year of WorldSBK competition.

Gerloff first started competing on his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR in WorldSBK last year, when he took a top six finish on Race Two at Donington. He will be out to put in similar performances this time around in the UK, especially on a track that he recorded one of his current eight podium finishes at during his WorldSBK career.

As it stands in 2026, with seven rounds and 21 races completed, the Texan rider is 11th overall, with 91 points.

The Kawasaki WorldSBK Team will begin their high-speed work on Friday 10 July, with two Free Practice sessions, before Saturday hosts a short FP3 session, then Superpole Qualifying, and a 23-lap Race One. The well-established ten-lap Tissot Superpole Race and then a second 23-lap race will end the weekend on Sunday July 12th.

A long summer break in WorldSBK action will take place after Donington, with the ninth round scheduled to take place at Magny-Cours in France between 4-6 September.

Garrett Gerloff stated: “The previous Misano round didn’t go as we’d hoped and so I can’t wait to get back out at Donington and get back to our previous level. It’s an historic track and reminds me of some of the tracks in America, with all the undulations. I hope to work well with the team and find a good setup on Friday, so that we can show our full potential in the races.”
