Kawasaki WorldSBK Team Approaching Final Round Of 2025

Garrett Gerloff and his Kawasaki WorldSBK Team are hoping to complete their first season together with a big finish at the final round, which will be run at the Circuito De Jerez - Angel Nieto, between 17-19 October.

This is, by definition, the first season that Gerloff has ridden the Ninja ZX-10RR, in his own sixth season of WorldSBK competition since leaving the MotoAmerica championship.

So far, Garrett has taken a best single race result of sixth this year, at Donington Park in July. The Texan approaches the final round of what has been an intensely competitive season behind a runaway top two riders in overall 15th position in the points table.

Importantly, Garrett has tested his Ninja at Jerez this season, and truly knows his way around the 4.423km long track located in the south of Spain. Three strong race finishes will give him a realistic chance to improve his final placing in the championship table, with the 13th place rider just 11 points ahead of Gerloff as it stands.

Two free practice sessions will start the final race weekend of the year, before Superpole qualifying and then Race One on Saturday. Sunday will feature two races; the ten-lap sprint and the second 20-lap Race Two that completes the season.

Garrett Gerloff stated: “This might be the last WorldSBK round but we’re just as motivated to race and do well as we were at the start of the season. The Estoril results were positive, but I want to keep working with the team at Jerez to make our bike even more competitive. I like the track and know it well, and I think we can use the data we collected while testing to find the right setup. If we can do that, we can aim for good results in the races.”
