Misano will host the seventh round of the 2026 WorldSSP championship, with the halfway point of the whole series having been reached after the recent Motorland Aragon Round.

Alcoba has achieved some strong results on the Ninja ZX-6R 636 this year, but he is as keen as his team is to get back into the podium positions, as they did on two occasions last year.

Aegerter is a former double WorldSSP Champion, returning to this category of racing in 2026. His personal best so far this season is a sixth place, at Assen, and he is out to get to that level again at his team’s home round.

Pre-Misano, Jeremy is eighth in the championship rankings with 87 points, while Dominique is 17th, with 25 points. 

The opening WorldSSP action at Misano will be a Free Practice session on Friday 12 June, followed by the Superpole Qualifying session in the afternoon. On Saturday, a short warm-up session precedes Race One, to be held over 18 laps of the 4.226km circuit. The final race of the weekend will take place on Sunday 14 June, once again scheduled for 18 laps.

After Misano, the eighth round of the WorldSSP championship will be held between 10-12 July, at the classic Donington Park circuit in the UK.

Jeremy Alcoba, stated: “I’m highly motivated, not only because this is the team’s home round but because I know we can do well and achieve some good results this weekend. I hope to quickly find a good setup for my bike so we can complete a strong Superpole. If we can start from one of the first rows, we can stick with the frontrunners. I like the track and our bike has improved a lot since last season, so I’m confident this can be a great weekend for the whole team.”

Dominique Aegerter, stated: “I like racing at Misano - my team’s home track. There’ll be a lot of fans and our sponsors on hand to support us and, after two difficult races at Aragon, I’ll be doing my best to be competitive. I’ve worked hard to prepare for this weekend and it’s time to take some good results. I can’t wait to get back on my Ninja ZX-6R 636 and make the team, the fans, and the sponsors happy.”
